Been waiting years for 5ten/addidas to come out with a flat-pedal winter boot for fatbiking. I previously used 45nrth Wolvhammer boots, but they were sub-par for flat pedals (with a rubber cover in place of cleats), and then old winter hiking boots that had a worn-flat sole (grip on the pedals, no grip off). These boots are super grippy on my flat pedals, and offer excellent grip in the snow when needing to push up steep sections. They feel warm enough for the single sub-zero temps they have been ridden in, and I look forward to trying them in temps as low as -15 C.

I purchased a size up (13, my freeriders are a 12) in case I want to use thicker socks, and my feet feel very secure inside the boot.

Highly recommmend.

Super warm, super dry, great tread. BOA takes some getting used to but I've used them fat biking, winter hiking and snowshoeing this winter so far. I'm so glad I picked these up!
