This new Wolvhammer retains all the functional elements from the original model while being more lightweight, comfortable, and grippier. The practical boa closure allows a secure fit, keeping the warmth in while keeping the bad weather out. The aerogel integrated in the foot bed not only blocks the cold from the pedal, but is also a waterproof insulator.

The real rubber outsole features greater grip with microglass rubber lugs, so you can walk without the fear of slipping. The full-grain leather and ballistic nylon shell provides a durable barrier while the waterproof membrane protects the feet from the elements. The outsole is compatible with both flat pedals and 2-bolt cleats as it comes with a removable cleat plate for flat pedal use. 45NRTH recommends using their specific Helva and Heiruspecs pedals rather than aggressive downhill pedals with sharp metal pins.
